Another CVS GUI on OS X
In my never ending quest for the perfect GUI application for CVS on OS X, I bring you yet another client. SmartCVS is a multi-platform java based CVS client with a free community edition, as well as a foundation edition that will cost you some cash.
I started using SmartCVS because I could not get Eclipse to mark files for removal. For this reason I gave SmartCVS a chance, but still keep a copy of Eclipse around for doing diffs and generating patches. If anyone knows how to mark files for removal in Eclipse, please comment back and let me know.
SmartCVS community edition may not be the most complete solution, but at least with it and Ecilpse I no longer have to go into the terminal to use CVS. The makers of SmartCVS, Syntevo, also offer a SVN client called SmartSVN, and a tool called SmartSynchronize for comparing files. I have not checked out their other products, but I am pretty pleased with SmartCVS and recommend you give it a spin.
